All recipes are palm-free and are scented with essential oils and colored using natural colorants. Using only 6 base oils, Benjamin’s use of additives and essential oil blends are what make these recipes really stand out from the crowd.
The recipes are 900-gram base oil recipes that fit into a 10” silicone loaf mold, and each includes percentages that enable you to resize the recipe as needed.

Never run out of soap recipes again! These 55 tried-and-true soap recipes make this your go-to recipe book!
Hi there! This is Amanda Aaron of Lovin’ Soap Studio. I just have to tell you about this incredible recipe book my husband, Benjamin, put together for you!
For many years, Benjamin ran a soap company called Prairie Soap Company. He had a retail store and wholesaled soap all over the United States. His soap was featured in national food chain stores all across the country.
You may ask why he closed up shop if his soap company was so successful? Well, he closed in order to start a non-profit with me, Lovin’ Soap Project!
But before he said farewell to retail, he shared ALL of his recipes in his eBook, Cold Process Soap Recipes: 55 Tried-and-True Soap Recipes from a Successful Soap Company.

Oh my. I’m in HOG HEAVEN! Beautiful recipes. Thank you!
Oh my. I’m in HOG HEAVEN! Beautiful recipes. Thank you! Only problem is that I just told myself I was going to have self-discipline and NOT buy any soap ingredients for a while. Guess that just went right out the window!! – Tina W.
The blends alone were worth the cash! I’m so excited to try them out!

Easy to read and very user friendly.
Hello there, new soapmaker here. I’ve read this book entirely, and I highly recommend it. It has a lot of recipes, and it guides you through the process. Is easy to read and very user friendly. – Iris F.
Really changed the way I thought about the soap business and worth every cent and much more!
Benjamin is a life saver in sharing this information. His formulas make a lovely soap that won’t break the bank to produce for the most part which is absolutely what it’s all about if you plan to lower your costs to a level where it’s profitable for you to wholesale your soap.
Some people might find the lack of fancy (expensive) oils disappointing but this is about making a good product for a price that makes sure it’s attractive to buyers and leaves you decent margins too.
Really changed the way I thought about the soap business and worth every cent and much more, information like this takes years to learn yourself and you get it here for a few dollars. Buy it! – Andrew P.

This book is excellent, just like the ones I have previously purchased from Loving Soap. A perfect guide to make step by step, ingredient by ingredient, soaps that will help me expand the variety for my customers. And as if that weren’t enough, the bonus, Basic Soapmaking Book, with all the necessary details for those who want to get started in this wonderful artisan soap industry. Thanks Amanda & Benjamin.

I ordered 2 ebooks and as soon as I checked the recipes through a soap calculator all the recipes have low longevity and they have a cleansing level more than 22 which not even oily skin can handle that high level.
The longevity is below 25, which is ludicrous since that means the customer’s soap will last, with good luck, probably only a week at most!
It’s very sad that I ordered this to improve my collection but I can’t even use a single one of these recipes.

A lovely collection, not only well written but excellently set out, I can read the recipes without my glasses, that’s worth some stars off the bat, There are gorgeous essential oil blends in this book (and I forgot to mention in the Lovin Soap recipe book review there are as well). Well worth purchasing, here I can only repeat myself, you can’t go wrong in my opinion.
